The organizers of the London On-Water Boat Show at St Katherine Dock have announced a new partnership with British Marine
A new partnership has been established between the organizers of the London On-Water Boat Show (LOWBS) and British Marine which aims to “deepen the links of the show with the UK yachting and boating industry”.
In a press release, organizers of LOWBS said the move would improve the event for exhibitors, sponsors and visitors and “enable key partners, from yacht builders and brokers to equipment and service providers, to participate in the development and growth of LOWBS in the future. ‘
The announcement follows the cancellation of the London Boat Show 2019 earlier this year due to a lack of support from the shipping industry.
British Marine stressed that the signing of the London On-Water Boat Show deal demonstrates its “continued commitment to showcase the industry through live events”.
Following the discontinuation of the London Boat Show for 2019, a task force, led by British Navy President-elect Ian Cooke, has been set up with representatives from across the industry. This group is responsible for exploring other opportunities to represent other aspects of the industry, including regional shows.

The London On-Water Boat Show, based in St Katherine Dock in the heart of the capital, has just joined Informa Exhibitions, responsible for the Monaco Yacht Show and the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.
This year’s show – the 5th – runs May 9-12, 2019 and promises “yachts, boats, cars and a whole host of other luxury brands” that can be seen both on the
water and land.
