THE BLUE BRINY – If you walk into a boat shop, the salesperson will bring out all the amazing things about boat ownership. For example, you can wakeboard whenever you want, you can take part in boat parades, and you can visit islands that no one else can reach.

But here’s what they won’t tell you: There is a vicious sea creature known to sink ships anchored offshore. This beast is biding its time just below the surface, waiting for your family to hit the beach for a picnic. Then, in the blink of an eye, it knocks! Before you even have a chance to scream, your boat sinks to the bottom.

Okay, after seeing that again video, I achieved little. First, the animal in question does not appear to be vicious at all. Rather, it’s a gregarious marine mammal who, like Ariel, just wants to be “paaaaart of oooour wooooooorld”.

Second, it definitely doesn’t hit in the blink of an eye. It’s a slow, awkward process that only makes you love the heavy critter.

Finally, most boats can probably survive the visit of this animal. Of course, the machine could take water. But that’s what the towels are for.

It is always important for future boat owners to watch this video. Because it’s really great that your new boat can provide hours of entertainment for both your family and the wildlife. I believe that is what they call a win-win.
